The competition consists of separate tournaments for ballroom and latin and for women and men. Unless we are surprised by an unexpected number of registrations, queer couples will also be able to participate in the parallel tournaments for women* and men* couples.
All participants have to be at least an age of 16 years. No additional restrictions in the age. The competition is based on the rules of the DVET.
The ” lila / pink Band der Spree” will be given to the winner of the combined judgement, based on the results of the open international tournament in ballroom and latin.

Registration for couples
Please register here. Registration for the queer tournaments is done on our registration portal by not answering the question “We are a”. . . instead of women*-/men*couple.
Couples who want to dance in a women* or men* tournament as well as in a queer tournament must fill out the form twice.
You will receive a confirmation usually within 1 day after your Registration. All entries by 27th June 2022 will be printed in the start list of the program booklet. Until Thursday registration via website is possible. Friday and Saturday (the day of the tournament) only registrations at the check-in at the venue is possible (latestly 30 minutes before start of your tournament).

Privacy Policy
The information provided upon registration will be used to prepare and organise
the competition. We may inform you about updates by e-mail. A list of the
participants with name, city and club will be made available on the website. In
case that you do not want your name to be published please indicate at the
registration. Please note our privacy policy (in German).
Registration fee:
Single start/multiple start (for ballroom & latin): 15,- € per person
The registration fee includes the entrance fee for the whole day.
Additional prices for dancers:
- You may buy beverages Saturday during the tournament and the evening.
- Food buffet for the day of the tournament: 15 € per person, incl. Vegetarian and/or chicken for the periods 14:30 – 16:00 and 18:30 – 20:00 from our bistro with Jamaican cuisine, Note: The city magazine TIP has tested our bistro and voted it as one of the best Jamaicans in town!!!
- Brunch for sunday morning: 5 € per person (inkl. comprehensive brunch and unlimited coffee, tea and juice and water)
Accomodation
This year we will offer the hosted housing for private accommodation possibilities only for outreach couples. Give us a hint via the registration form. We will contact you.
Outreach
With Outreach we support participants of the tournament from eastern-european countries, who are are competing their first time at a competition n Berlin (Berlin Open, German Open or EC 2017). These couples will be supported for their participation at the Berlin Open 2022 with 50 EUR per person upon request. Additionally the registration fee is zero and we will offer hosted housing exclusivly for outreach couples.
