We are looking forward to the 9th Camp for Equality Dance Couples! On the penultimate weekend before Christmas, i. e. 13 – 15. 12. 2024, you can expect intensive training, lots of fun, new insights and then tired bones. The training camp is aimed at equality dance couples from Berlin, Germany and internationally, regardless of whether you are a tournament couple (all classes) or amateur athletes. By equality dance couples we mean: women* couples, men* couples, mixed couples with leading women* and all other constellations that do not really fit into the mainstram dancing. The training is usually held in two languages (German/English) or supplemented in the other language. Individual dancers usually find a partner.
In the period from Friday afternoon (14:00) to Sunday afternoon (18:00), 11 training sessions of 1.5 hours each for ballroom and latin will be offered by trainers experienced in the field of equality from pinkballroom and elsewhere: Pascal Herrbach, Guido Bouwman, Arseni Pavlov, Margaryta Vyshetravska, Gergely Darabos, Christian Wenzel & Berna Celic. Further information about the trainers. As always, we will eat together on Friday evening and celebrate the Pink-X-mas ball together on Saturday evening.
Why is he camp so particular?
- Dancers come together from different clubs and learn from and with each other.
- Dancing together and the intensive exchange motivate “not yet” and “so long ago” dancers to compete on tournaments. Thereby we support the DVET-action „Einsteiger_innen gesucht!“ (first time dancers wanted!)
- Role changes are part of some of the trainigs – some couples want to dance them regularly, others „only“ want to profit from the „new“ experiences. Thereby we support the DVET-action „Rettet den Führungswechsel!“ (save the role change!)
- All trainings are appropriate for all participants – of whether your concentration is on Standard or Latin.
- There will also be fun: Dancing at the Pink-X-mas-Ball

- 20:00: common dinner in the TiB-Bistrot (or free time)

- 10:00 – 11:30: latin, Margaryta Vyshetravska, rumba
- 12:00 – 13:30: ballroom, Christian Wenzel, slow fox
- 14:00 – 15:30: latin, Arseni Pavlov, paso doble
- 16:00 – 17:30: Berna Celic, Turkish Folk Dance
- 20:00 – 00:30: Pink X-mas-Ball. (free entrance for all dancers of the camp)
